The United States (USP), in cooperation with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the State Council pharmacy regulators, establishes standards of quality control of all medications (including arthritis medications) dispensed pharmacies in the United States. To prevent consumers receiving poor quality and / or harmful drugs internet pharmacy, USP offers two important proposals.

# 1 - Determine if the online pharmacy you are planning requires a valid prescription from your doctor before distributing drugs.

VIPPS

The FDA offers the following tips and warnings for customers from online pharmacy:

• Check to see with the NABP whether an online pharmacy is fine.

• Do not use online pharmacies to answer without access to a registered pharmacist your questions.
• Do not buy drugs from foreign locations.
• Beware of sites that quick solutions or panacea offer, or make outrageous claims.
• Always consult your doctor before taking any medication for the first time. Check your prescription from your doctor.
